Built as a lightweight, short-wheelbase competitor for twisty races like the Targa Florio and the Nurburgring, the 908/3 was powerful weapon in the hands of the likes of Brian Redman, Vic Elford, and Jo Siffert. Entered by the Porsche family-owned Salzburg team, chassis #007 wasn’t as successful as some of it’s brethren but is nonetheless an iconic piece of automotive history. Today, the car is a staple in vintage races around the country.
