Emerson Fittipaldi won a closely-fought battle to take his second F1 championship with the McLaren M23 in 1974.  The brainchild of Gordon Coppuck and new hire John Barnard, the chiseled M23 featured innovative aerodynamics and a distinctive dart-like plan view.  Combined with its iconic Marlboro livery, the M23 became stuff of legend, and dutifully served the works and customer teams for 4 seasons.
