The Porsche 908/3 made its debut in the 1970 Targa Florio.  Entered by the JW Automotive team with iconic Gulf livery, ace pilots Brian Redman and Jo Siffert qualified in first and subsequently took the car to victory on the twisty Sicilian circuit.  This victory laid the foundation for years of subsequent success for the 908/3.
