In the 1960's, as the Piaget name began to gain worldwide fame, the family's expanding staff of master watchmakers and jewelers built watches to meet the needs of their wealthy clientele. During this time, the company's production volume was quite small.
Built with a distinctive look it has a beautiful and refined vintage style with herringbone bracelet, matching gold dial, and diamond faceted crystal.
Powering the watch is one of the company's high-grade 6P1 handwound movements. The watch is original down to the dial and hands. At its current length the bracelet fits a very petite wrist of just over 5 3/4 inches, but length can be added by a jeweler.
It presents as just short of mint condition with signs of polishing. Our watchmaker has just freshly cleaned and oiled the movement. It is keeping extremely accurate time.
